Stone Restoration and Polishing

Marble Restoration Marble Restoration (as well as natural stone restoration) restores worn dull stone to a reflection and finish desired by the owner or management company.

Marble Polishing

Marble Polishing is similar to restoration, however the amount of marble taken off to create the finish is significantly less then in the restoration process; thus it takes much less time and materials. For either of these services we will employ the following techniques as required:

Cleaning – the removal of dirt, stains, bacteria and coatings such as wax or polymers.

Stripping – an extreme cleaning that removes everything that limits or blocks stone's ability to breathe. If the stone can not breathe, you may get spalling; when the stones crack, pop and shale.

Grinding – the removal of deep scratches and uneven tile edges. This is done by industrial machines with diamond abrasive pads and water.

Honing – the removal of day to day wear and minor scratches.

Polishing – To give marble or stone the sheen you want, enhance the veining in marble and to protect the marble or stone from everyday traffic and spills.

Color Enhancing – Specialty sealers can penetrate the stone and are made to enhance the color of the stone.

Sealing – To protect and preserve natural stone using penetrating sealers and impregnators.

Grout Cleaning and Sealing – Removing the contaminants from your grout will give it that fresh grouted look and sealing it keeps dirt and other substances from penetrating the clean finish.
