HOW IS THE JOB CHARGED?
Stone restoration jobs are bid by the job. Other ways of bidding
like hourly or by the square foot are simply not practical. Each
type of stone has its own set of unique challenges. Our pricing
reflects our expertise, the high quality (diamond) compounds, and
investment in equipment. Our bid will include everything it takes
to meet our expectations and exceed yours.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
We book stone counters and floor restorations a week or so in advance.
Once we start, it can be as quickly as a single day through a week
on some commercial jobs. The average is between two and three days.
After seeing the scope of the project, not only will we provide
a written estimate, but give you an accurate estimate of the time
involved.
Why won't the water spots on my marble or travertine clean
up?
More than likely these spots on your natural stone are
not water spots, but an area like a water spot that has been etched
into the surface of the stone.
This is what happens when something acidic (tomatoes, lemons, some
cleaners) comes in contact with calcium based stone. If you can
feel the spot with your finger, it will need to be polished out
professionally. If there is no change in the feel of the stone when
you run your finger over it, there are some products available at
most stone suppliers that may work.
How much dust will be created during the restoration of
my floor?
Because we use water in the polishing process the dust
mixes with the water to form a paste vs. being kicked up in the
air to form dust, thus the amount of dust created is minimal to
none.
Why don't you price a job by the square foot?
While some may offer you a phone quote by the square foot,
how accurate can that be when they have not seen the condition of
the stone? What if there are different types of stone on the same
floor, each requiring different methods?
The only way we can accurately and fairly bid is to view the job,
understand your goals, and prepare a bid that is all inclusive
